Incredibly happy with the license plate supplied by California License Plate. I was curious about the word spacing as my plate has two words and there was a half space used when originally made 40+ years ago. When the new plate arrived and set it on top of the original the letter impressions lined up perfect and the plates nested together extremely well. Highly recommended!

This California sunset plate is totally cool! It perfectly matches the offical DMV plate that was issued back in the 80s but is no longer avaialble. Plate numbers themselves are correct. However the text at the top of the plate where it says california is wrong. Image is poorly scaled and the text appears as if it is melting.

These plates are beyond excellent. Compared to my original CA "lipstick" design plates (the current standard DMV edition), these vintage "Golden State" edition plates look even cleaner and more original. The embossing is perfect. The metal feels 100% original. And the reflective nature of the paint seems spot on as well. I am ordering a second one for the front of the car.
