REFUND AND RETURN POLICY FOR PERSONALIZED PRODUCTS
We do not accept returns on personalized products, This is because the product has been customized specifically for you and cannot be resold. Therefore, it is important to double-check your order before submitting it to ensure that all information is correct. If there is a manufacturing error or product defect with your order, please contact our customer service as soon as possible to report the issue and request a replacement. To start a request a replacement, you can contact us at info@california-license-plate.com. with your order number and a description of the issue. We will provide you with instructions on the exchange process.
ANY RETURNS OR PROBLEMS THAT OCCUR BECAUSE OF AN ERROR ON OUR PART (MANUFACTURING ERROR OR PRODUCT DEFECT) WILL BE HANDLED AT OUR EXPENSE.
Before shipping a replacement, we may request that the defective item be destroyed and ask you to email a photo of the destroyed item. If the item is not destroyed by the buyer, no exchange will be made. These are the terms of our policy if our company makes a mistake during production.
Refunds
If you have received a defective personalized product due to the company's fault, you have three choices.
1. Get a full refund.
2. Get a replacement, if available, at no extra cost.
3. Keep the faulty product but get compensation for the difference in value compared with one in good condition.
Customers should request a refund or an exchange within 30 days from the date of purchase.

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your request a refund, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

REFUND AND RETURN POLICY FOR NON-PERSONALIZED PRODUCTS
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Additional fees may apply if not returned in original packaging. Return shipping costs will be at the customer's expense. Some of our products are offered with free shipping, so please note if you return a product that has free shipping our actual outbound shipping costs will be deducted from your return refund. Returns will be inspected prior to issuing credit. We`ll not refund items are damaged or loss in shipping process.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like custom products (such as special orders or personalized items). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS
CAUTION - PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASE
Unfortunately, our license plates are not perfect. There are several weak points, please make sure to read & understand about followings points before purchasing order, thank you.
- Button "Preview"
Our store, the customer party has the opportunity to "preview" when placing an order. The preview is only an example.
The content included in the "preview" does not reflect 100% of what the customer will receive from the personalized product. Namely, the size and shape of the text may be different than that displayed in the "preview". The color of the license plate, the colors of the graphics and the shape of the license plate itself may differ from the one displayed in the "preview". (this is not a reason for a complaint or return of goods).
By placing and confirming the order, the ordering party agrees to have read our privacy policy and returns policy.
- License plates may be bent.
Our license plates are made of aluminium and pressed by hand with a hydraulic machine, after extrusion the license plate will be bent. We try our best, but bending cannot be avoided. It will be slightly bent on almost all license plates (this is not a reason for a complaint or return of goods).
- The markings on embossed license plates.
The markings on embossed license plates are typical and not considered defects. Depending on the shape of embossing letters, the force of the pressing may focused on a point which making too many pressure, We're trying our best to adjust the pressure, but sometimes this cannot be avoided (this is not a reason for a complaint or return of goods).
- Actual product and color on your monitor may different.
Actual product color may vary from the images shown. Every monitor or mobile display has a different capability to display colors, and every individual may see these colors differently. In addition, lighting conditions at the time the photo was taken can also affect an image's color.
- Replica license plates sold on this site www.california-license-plate.com are for non-official use only and no warranties are made that said license plates are identical to originals. The actual color of the product may differ from the original license plates. The actual color and shape of the graphics may differ from the original license plates. License plates sold on this site must never be used in lieu of officially government issued license plates.
WARRANTY
The license Plate has the twelve (12) months warranty period begins on the date as stated on your invoice..
WARRANTY LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS
Our warranty does not cover:
- Damage caused by motorized car washes, cleaning solvents and car polishes, by improper installation, modification, hail, road hazards, acid rain and off-road vehicle use.
